The Role
As a Finance Manager – Controlling, you’ll be a key contributor to our financial planning and analysis activities, acting as a business partner across departments to ensure operational and financial alignment. You will drive budget control, variance analysis, and performance reporting, while contributing to strategic decision making through high quality financial insights.

We’re looking for someone with strong analytical foundations ideally with experience in consulting or financial advisory who is ready to step into a more hands-on, operational finance role in a fast growing, cross-border environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly and quarterly budget vs actuals reviews with key departments
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to enable real-time financial visibility
  • Own variance analysis, cost control tracking, and spend forecasting across functions (e.g., Operations, Procurement, R&D)
  • Act as a finance business partner to department leads, providing insight and challenge to financial assumptions
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to support scenario planning and data-driven decisions
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controlling processes and ERP/reporting systems
  • Support audit preparation, financial governance, and risk control initiatives

Your Profile
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or management consulting (finance-focused)
  • Background in consulting or experience in a complex, operational business
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with comfort working in Excel and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and financial reporting workflows
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly structured, detail oriented, and proactive in improving processes
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus
