THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
From socks and pet food to cosmetics, charles is helping countless brands reach their loyal customers every day, one conversation at a time. As a Senior Product Manager in our Messaging & Analytics area, you'll own the product surface that every single one of our customers uses daily — the messaging channels they send on, the journeys and campaigns they build, and the analytics they use to decide what to do next.
You'll partner directly with engineering and design to discover, scope, and ship — and you'll make the product measurably more AI-first as you go, turning manual configuration into something conversational, intelligent, and effortless for our customers.
THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Own the roadmap and delivery for a major slice of the charles product — our messaging channels (WhatsApp, RCS, and future channels), Journeys, Campaigns, Contact Management, and Analytics
- Drive continuous iteration on mature, high-usage features: understand what's working, what isn't, and where the highest-leverage improvements are
- Make our core product meaningfully more AI-first — rethinking flows, configuration, and analytics through an LLM lens and shipping features that replace manual work with intelligent defaults
- Talk to customers directly — including running discovery sessions in German with DACH brands — to stay close to real usage and real pain
- Partner with engineering and design in a strong product trio to move from problem to shipped feature quickly and with high quality
- Work cross-functionally with CSMs, Sales, and Support to prioritise based on real customer impact and business value
- Define success metrics, track them, and use data to validate that what we ship actually moves the needle
YOU'LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND VALUES
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, ideally on products with depth and maturity (not just greenfield 0→1 work)
- Strong product judgment: you know how to pick the right problem to solve, not just the most interesting one, and you ruthlessly prioritise based on customer and business impact
- Hands-on AI-first mindset: you've shipped features using LLMs in production — or you've gone deep on AI in your own time (built side projects, engaged with the technical details, formed real opinions from hands-on experience) and are ready to apply it to a real product
- AI-fluent in your own workflow: you use AI tools daily for research, analysis, writing, and prototyping, and have a clear point of view on how they should change how product work gets done
- Strong engineering partnership: you build trust with engineers by understanding their world, you negotiate scope and timelines as peers rather than dictating, and you make pragmatic calls on when to invest in product debt vs. when to ship new value
- Technical fluency: you're comfortable reading API specs, discussing data models, and getting into the details of how messaging systems, analytics pipelines, or agent orchestration actually work
- Data-driven decision making: you can query data yourself (SQL, BigQuery, or equivalent), design experiments, and use numbers to build your case
- Customer-close: you genuinely enjoy talking to customers, running discovery, and synthesising patterns from messy qualitative input
- German and English: fluent English is required, and fluent German is strongly preferred so you can run customer conversations with DACH brands directly
Nice to have:
- Previous experience with messaging products, CRM/CDP, marketing automation, or analytics/BI tools
- Experience in conversational commerce, ecommerce, or martech
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business Platform, RCS, or similar channel APIs
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar commerce/marketing ecosystems
Meeting all requirements is not necessary to apply. We encourage candidates who meet some but not all of these qualifications to submit their application.
