Tasks
- Prepare, configure, and test VR devices for customer deployments, ensuring all software, firmware, and content are fully up to date
- Establish and continuously improve a quality assurance checklist as the final gate before hardware shipment
- Pack, label, and ship VR equipment for national and international customers, ensuring reliable and timely delivery
- Manage and maintain our full VR hardware inventory, including headsets, controllers, cables, chargers, and packaging materials
- Actively contribute to improving our hardware setup, logistics processes, and QA standards based on real-world usage and feedback
- Identify, document, and report bugs, hardware issues, or usability inconsistencies using structured QA processes and customer feedback
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student (e.g. engineering, logistics, business, IT, game development or a comparable field)
- Highly organized and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
- Hands-on, proactive mindset - you enjoy solving practical problems and taking initiative
- Structured and careful working style, especially when handling technical equipment
- Interest in quality assurance, immersive technologies, VR, gaming, or hardware operations
- Strong communication skills in English and German
- Availability to work part-time on-site at our Cologne office
