About the Role: As our Group Consolidation Controller / Participation Controller (m/f/d), you will take ownership of group-wide financial reporting and consolidation processes in accordance with IFRS. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of consolidated financial statements, maintain compliance with international accounting standards, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Must Have: IFRS and consolidation expertise, German Commercial Laws (Accounting), and Audits experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Validate financial data from subsidiaries and ensure consistency.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor IFRS updates and implement changes.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
• Analyze consolidated results and provide insights to management.
• Drive process improvements in consolidation workflows.
• Act as main contact for group reporting and IFRS compliance.
• Collaborate with subsidiaries and management for timely reporting.
• Support SAP implementation and related system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Completed study degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IFRS accounting and group consolidation.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidation principles.
• Experience with consolidation tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment as well as teamwork.
