At Flinn, we are strong proponents of the benefits of remote work, but we also recognize the importance of in-person interactions. Our quarterly offsite events are designed to foster strong personal relationships and provide a platform for team members to discuss topics beyond work. We believe that to grow as a company, it’s essential to know your colleagues on a personal level. 🌟 Given our remote-first nature, the offsite offers a great opportunity for new joiners to meet everyone in person, share experiences, and integrate into the team culture. 10th OffsiteKrems | Austria

Our first offsite after closing our Series A marked the beginning of a new chapter—bringing fresh energy, new faces, and bold ambitions together near Krems.

Between AI-focused workshops, no-bullshit panels, and sparring sessions, we challenged our thinking—while archery and golf kept our aim sharp beyond just business.

9th OffsiteVarna | Bulgaria

We gathered in Varna to catch the last rays of summer on Golden Sands beach.

Between aligning on our 10-year vision and OKRs, running an AI hackathon, and diving deep into topics like psychological safety and longevity, we found time to celebrate, swim, and dance under the stars.

8th OffsiteZöbern | Austria

Our winter offsite took us to the hills of Zöbern, where we spent a week reconnecting as a team.

Amidst the crisp mountain air, we balanced productive team sessions with winter adventures—torchlight hikes through misty trails, ice bathing in freezing water, and sledging races.

7th OffsiteVienna | Austria

We retreated to Vienna during the festive season, basking in the glow of its famous Christmas lights.

Between reflections on the past year and plans for the next, we explored Christmas markets, went ice skating, played mini golf, and introduced our international teammates to Austrian cuisine.

6th OffsiteNice | France We gathered at a charming chateau near Nice for our quarterly offsite, surrounded by the lush greenery of the South of France. The week was a blend of productive team sessions and relaxing activities—nature walks, table tennis, mountain biking, and even an astrology workshop.

5th OffsiteArendsee | Germany We immersed ourselves in nature at the Astraea Eco Resort, sleeping in tipis and yurts. The green surroundings were perfect for disconnecting from the daily grind and reconnecting with each other in a peaceful setting.

4th OffsiteSalzburg | Austria We took a retreat to a quiet house in the Austrian mountains, only reachable by cable car. Surrounded by the majestic peaks, we embraced self-catering, enjoyed snowshoe hiking and skiing, and spent our evenings engaged in board games, Nerf gun battles, and magic tricks.

3rd OffsiteAthens | Greece For our 3rd offsite we decided to pay our colleague Chris a visit in his beautiful home country. Our days were filled with relaxing by the pool and renting a boat to navigate the crystal-clear waters. This offsite provided the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

2nd OffsiteBrandenburg | Germany For our second offsite, we decided to go for a tranquil retreat by the lake in Brandenburg. Our team bonded over barbecues, swimming, and lakeside activities.

1st OffsiteLisbon | Portugal We kicked off our quarterly offsite tradition with a beautiful week in Lisbon. We enjoyed a workation by the sea, blending work with the stunning coastal scenery.
