To support our team, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager in our Team Strategic Projects Operations. This team is responsible for driving our Operations’ department most complex, tech-driven and large-scale projects to enable further innovation and growth into new markets.

As a Senior Project Manager (f/m/d) you will drive these projects end-to-end. You are expected to manage time and scope and ensure proper alignment, both vertical and horizontal. You ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with both tech and business teams. Together you are responsible for bringing the envisioned end-result live.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You support FlixBus’ continuous international expansion, including country and regional launches, post-merger integrations and business model growth.
• You work closely with units across Operations, Tech and other departments to ensure systems, processes and resources are in place to support growth and excellence.
• You lead high-impact projects with a lot of autonomy and taking large responsibilities from day one, with exposure to top management.
• You work closely with IT to design and implement innovative solutions and new processes.
• You lead operations projects with a focus on automation, scalability, growth and profitability.
• You manage change pro-actively and you can bridge the gap between different kinds of stakeholders.
• You contribute to the development of project planning and steering mechanisms across Flix to ensure alignment and effective decision making.
• You document changes and interact with different stakeholders to identify the business needs and translate them to clear requirements. You (are able to) understand the business processes and existing software in detail, identify gaps and suggest improvements and continuously optimize them.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• You are a graduate from a top Business Administration University, Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or similar
• You have 5+ years professional experience in Operations, consulting, or IT (start-up, corporate, …)
• You have an extensive track record when it comes to managing projects in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• You have experience with global expansion activities. Experience setting up regional, country or global offices would be a strong advantage.
• You have a record of completed projects that have delivered significant business value.
• You are strongly driven, self-organized and highly reliable.
• You can effectively prioritize and perform in high-pressure situations, including managing a multitude of competing priorities.
• You have advanced presentation skills, especially in large group set ups, and are a strong, confident interpersonal communicator.
• You are a problem solver and you have a strong analytical mind, with an affinity for numbers and analysis.
• You have an affinity for technology and a keen interest for learning new technical concepts.
• You like working as a team and contributing to team development.
• You are fluent in English
• Experience working abroad or in diverse environments is a plus.
• Leadership experience, ideally leading teams of project managers or analysts in high-pressure situations is a plus.
