The Position: (Senior) R&D Engineer Drilling
As a (Senior) R&D Engineer Drilling at Hades, you will apply the learnings from your past drilling experience to conceptualize, design, engineer and implement a novel drill technology. This role is one of Hades first drilling engineer hires and will play a pivotal role in the journey of Hades - it provides the opportunity for real impact from day one. You will work closely with the technical founding team and the multidisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, and scientists to make ultra-deep drilling fast and cheap.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who possesses:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D for drilling equipment, preferably HTHP environments
- Strong understanding of novel drilling techniques and drilling equipment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage drilling R&D projects from conception to completion
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Willingness to reside in the greater Munich area
