Mission Brief

As our Senior Specialist L&D, you’ll lead the charge in creating a workplace that inspires, develops, and engages our diverse teams. This is a strategic role where you’ll design and drive initiatives that shape our company culture, empower our leaders, and elevate learning across the organization. This role reports to the VP Talent.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

Culture & Engagement

  • Champion a value-driven culture that reflects our mission and energizes our teams.
  • Design and lead initiatives that foster inclusion, recognition, and employee connection.
  • Collaborate across departments to embed cultural values into everyday practices.
  • Analyze employee feedback and implement action plans to boost engagement and retention.

Leadership Development

  • Build, extend, and deliver impactful leadership programs tailored to our growth trajectory.
  • Identify future leadership needs and develop internal talent pipelines.
  • Partner with senior leaders to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and performance.

Learning & Development

  • Oversee the full learning cycle—from needs analysis to program delivery and evaluation.
  • Manage our Learning Management System (LMS) and digital learning tools.
  • Design career paths and high-potential programs aligned with business strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of onboarding programs to ensure new hires are welcomed, engaged, and set up for success from day one.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with internal communications to craft compelling narratives around culture and development.
  • Work closely with HR BPs, senior leaders, product teams, and other departments to integrate development into recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualification Checklist

  • Degree in economics, psychology, human resources, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of proven experience in L&D and culture development, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong project management and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and e-learning tools.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in dynamic environments and embrace change.
  • Creativity: Develop innovative and engaging programs.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships across all levels. Anticipate and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges with strategic thinking.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use analytics to guide strategy and measure success.
