Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Expert AUTOSAR Model Based Development Engineer with strong expertise in developing AUTOSAR application software components (SWCs) using Simulink-based model design, with disciplined architecture, traceability, and production-quality code generation.

Key Responsibilities:
· Translate system/software requirements into Simulink/Stateflow architectures (runnables, data types, interfaces).
· Implement control logic and feature behavior aligned to AUTOSAR (S/R, C/S, NvM, DEM/DIDs, modes).
· Configure and maintain code generation (Embedded Coder/AUTOSAR target) and integration artifacts (ARXML).
· Perform model quality checks (style, complexity, guidelines) and peer reviews.
· Create and maintain unit tests and model-level verification (MIL) and support downstream SIL/HIL efforts.
· Navigate and extract architectural data from Vector PREEvision to ensure correct SWC interface alignment.
Must Have Skills & Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
· Experience: Minimum 5 years in Model Based Development and AUTOSAR.
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow modeling for embedded control software.
- AUTOSAR Classic concepts and application SWC development; familiarity with ARXML.
- Requirements traceability and documentation rigor.
- Code generation, configuration management (Git), and CI basics.
- Debugging skills across model, generated code, and integration environments.
Good to Have Skills:
· MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder (AUTOSAR workflows).
- Version control and collaboration (Git, code review tooling).
- Requirements tools (e.g., Polarion) and issue tracking.
- Familiarity with Vector PREEvision as an E/E architecture authoring tool
Soft Skills:
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
· Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
