Job Summary
As a Lead Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. You will leverage your expertise in testing tools and methodologies to drive quality assurance processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you will ensure that our solutions meet customer expectations and contribute to the companys success in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure product quality.
- Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Cucumber TestNG and Maven.
- Provide expertise in HP ALM for test management and ensure seamless integration with Jira for defect tracking.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design effective test cases.
- Conduct thorough testing of APIs using RestAssured to ensure robust and reliable software performance.
- Utilize Java programming skills to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of database testing using PL/SQL.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Monitor and report on testing progress providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in HP ALM Cucumber TestNG Maven RestAssured Java Jira and PL/SQL.
- Demonstrate expertise in automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Have experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain which is a plus.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Show strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Be adaptable to a hybrid work model with a focus on day shifts.
