SAP FI Consultant (Junior / Pleno – S/4HANA)
About the role
As an SAP FI Consultant (Junior / Pleno), you will make an impact by supporting and configuring SAP Financial Accounting solutions that ensure system stability, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial operations. You will be a valued member of the SAP Finance team and work collaboratively with business users, IT teams, and global stakeholders to support SAP FI processes across implementations and ongoing operations.
In this role, you will:
• Provide functional support for SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Participate in SAP FI implementations and global template rollouts, supporting configuration and customization activities.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and stability.
• Create and maintain functional and technical documentation to support audits, knowledge transfer, and user enablement.
• Ensure SAP FI solutions comply with local legal, tax, and accounting requirements, particularly for Brazil and LATAM.
• Act as a key point of contact for business users, supporting financial close activities and operational inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents and continuously improve system performance.
Work model
This is a hybrid position requiring X days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Brazil. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support work‑life balance through our wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered
• Experience supporting or implementing SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA), including integration with CO.
• 0–2 years of SAP experience for Junior level or 2–4 years for Pleno level roles.
• Experience executing SAP testing activities and creating documentation.
• Understanding of financial accounting processes and local compliance requirements.
• Advanced English for collaboration in international project environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
These will help you stand out
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Experience working with large data volumes or global SAP templates.
