We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading a talented group of developers to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using a range of technologies including Java, JavaScript, JUnit, HTML, and MySQL. Your leadership will be key in guiding the team through the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, code quality standards, and project timelines. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications, driving innovation through your technical expertise and vision.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and design InsuranceNow product solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of product features and functionalities.
• Provide Support with good Property & Casualty Insurance domain knowledege
• Utilize expertise in Velocity 1.7 to create efficient and scalable product solutions.
• Integrate InsuranceNow functionalities to enhance product capabilities and user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of product features to ensure quality and functionality.
• Document architectural designs and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.

What you need to have to be considered

• Minumum15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, JavaScript, JUnit, HTML, and MySQL.
• Extensive experience in design and development of InsuranceNow product solutions
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a development team with a track record of delivering successful projects.
• Expertise in software development methodologies, particularly agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and software architecture principles.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 88,690 to $ 155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
