Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Zscaler Engineer with strong hands-on experience in ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and transitioning security solutions on the Zscaler platform. A solid understanding of the Azure environment is required. This role involves creating high- and low-level designs, migrating legacy solutions, integrating with security tools, performing testing, and supporting enterprise-scale rollouts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), including Cloud DLP enablement and SSL Inspection.
- Develop HLD and LLD for Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Create detailed solution deployment guides, and secure approvals and sign-offs for implementation.
- Configure Zscaler components to migrate rules and policies from existing web proxy solutions to the ZIA platform.
- Configure and migrate access rules from the current remote VPN solution to the ZPA platform.
- Integrate Zscaler solutions with SIEM platforms, Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS), and other security tools as per the design.
- Conduct testing and validation of deployed solutions and support the enterprise-wide rollout.
- Update deployment documentation and deliver knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to steady-state operations teams.

The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 – $ 134,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
