Cognizant is looking for an experienced TestComplete Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks using TestComplete. The ideal candidate should have significant automation experience and be available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using TestComplete
• Develop and enhance keyword-driven / data-driven frameworks
• Automate functional, regression, and smoke test scenarios
• Work on desktop, web, and/or mobile automation (as applicable)
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Analyze test execution results and manage defect lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, Product Owners)
• Ensure automation coverage and contribute to test strategy

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of overall IT experience
• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in TestComplete automation
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages supported by TestComplete (JavaScript / Python / VBScript / C#)
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Understanding of Object Recognition and Name Mapping in TestComplete
• Experience in database validation (SQL queries)
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology
• Experience with version control tools (Git)
  

Good to Have

• Experience in API testing
• Exposure to cross-browser testing
• Experience in integrating TestComplete with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
