Release/DevOps Engineer

Location : Bridgewater, NJ ( Onsite )

JD:-

• Strong experience in Release Management, configurations, and delivery.

Strong experience in Azure DevOps and GitHub, GitHub actions

• Strong experience in CICD pipelines setup with end-to-end configurations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience in Build and deployment, and application configurations on different Environments

• Strong experience in Jenkins installation, configurations, and integrations with other CICD tools.

• Strong experience in writing shell scripts, Python, and deployment automation scripts.

• Strong experience with Atlassian Tools, administration, and configurations.

• Strong experience with Atlassian Bitbucket/Stash, configurations, and project setup.

• Strong experience in JIRA, configuration of workflows, schemas, screens, and project end-to-end setup/configuration and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience in JFROG Artifactory setup, repo configurations, integration with build tools, and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience in NEXUS setup, repo configurations, integration with other tools , and troubleshooting

• Strong experience with Atlassian Confluence, configurations, and project setup.

• Strong experience with Git, SVN, and Ansible.

• Strong experience with Maven and ANT for building source code/configurations

• Strong experience in Java code building, deployment methodologies, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Octopus builds and setting up the configurations/Troubleshooting

• Strong Experience on troubleshoot Maven dependency errors/pom.xml configurations.

• Experience with SonarQube, project configurations, and integration with CI tools

• Strong experience in Linux, Unix, and Windows for build/release environments.

• Strong troubleshooting experience on build/deployment failures.

• Strong deployment experience on JBOSS and TOMCAT servers.

• Experience with JBOSS configurations and DEV/QA/Production environment setup and configuration

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 2/26/2026.

The annual salary for this position is between 79,000 to 92,500 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
