Job Summary

The Functional Architect (ISG) will play a critical role in guiding clients through the evaluation and selection of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software based on their Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) business processes. In this role, you will lead TPM-focused workshops, assess client requirements, compare leading TPM solutions, and provide architectural insights into software capabilities and system integrations. Your expertise will help clients understand TPM solution architectures and their integration with ERP platforms, reporting tools, and broader enterprise ecosystems. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead workshops to assess and document client CPG TPM business processes, requirements, and optimization opportunities.

· Evaluate and compare different TPM software solutions—including Salesforce CPG, Xtel, and VisualFABRIQ—to support informed product selection.

· Analyze TPM solution architectures and articulate how they integrate with ERP systems, reporting tools, and other enterprise applications.

· Provide expert guidance on best‑fit TPM tools based on client operating models, scalability needs, and technical environments.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business stakeholders, vendors) to ensure alignment on TPM capabilities and integration strategies.

· Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical documentation.

· Apply strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to address gaps, risks, and dependencies within TPM processes.

· Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly salary for this position is between $[ 113,000 - 132,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
