Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support/ Field Services Tech for a full-time opportunity onsite in Portland, OR. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities:

· Provide Install, Move Add Change (lMAC), Break-Fix and end user support activities as required.

· Provide support for the handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices.

· Provide smart Hands and Feet support for across teams on demand

· Rack and Stack Support for commissioning/decommissioning infra devices.

· Perform data collection/preservation activities as they relate to migrations and/or e- Discovery.

· Stage Build and Image Systems with standard client image.

· Provide physical access to vendors on demand for site/communication rooms – IDF/MDF/MMR and Data Center/Server room.

· Perform Power Shut down maintenance activities including shutting down network devices and servers in data center.

Qualifications:

· Four plus years of experience in supporting laptops, handheld and scanner devices.

· Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break-Fix and end user support activities as required.

· Resolve Complex Client Computing Problems for business customers and IT Service Areas.

· Rack and Stack Support for commissioning/decommissioning infra devices.

· Experience in supporting overall manufacturing/lab IT systems and IT devices.

· Advanced communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams on high priority issues.
