Senior IAM Delivery Lead

About the role
As a Senior IAM Delivery Lead, you will make an impact by leading day‑to‑day execution of large‑scale Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives across a complex enterprise landscape. You will be a valued member of the IAM Delivery team and work collaboratively with engineering, security, business, and client stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence, transparency, and measurable outcomes.
In this role, you will:
· Lead delivery of enterprise IAM initiatives, driving high‑quality execution, risk management, and on‑time results.
· Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly across technical, business, and executive partners.
· Build trust with customers and internal stakeholders through a strong customer‑centric and execution‑focused approach.
· Manage delivery operations including planning, resource allocation, financial tracking, and governance.
· Promote collaboration across cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent standards and seamless integration.
· Champion continuous improvement by optimizing processes and introducing delivery innovations.
· Engage, coach, and support team members to foster accountability, engagement, and high performance.
Work model — Onsite (Plano, TX)

What you need to have to be considered
· 12+ years of experience delivering enterprise‑scale IAM or security initiatives.
· Proven ability to lead multi‑workstream or multi‑vendor delivery environments.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
· Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and fostering collaborative relationships.
· Financial and operational acumen (budgeting, forecasting, resource planning).
· Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to build trust and deliver results.
· Strong execution discipline with a track record of solving delivery challenges and improving processes.
These will help you stand out
· Experience with IAM domains such as Identity Governance, Access Management, PAM, Federation, or Directory Services.
· Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
· Certifications such as PMP, CSM, Prosci, CISSP, CISM, or similar.
· Experience working in global delivery or multi‑vendor environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – $160,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
