Job Summary

The Sr. Test Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions within the Retail Banking domain. With a focus on API testing and automation using Selenium and Java the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience and offers a dynamic work environment in our office during day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive API testing using Karate to ensure seamless integration and functionality of banking applications.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to validate software performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders facilitating informed decision-making.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to ensure testability and coverage of all scenarios.
• Implement best practices in test automation to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
• Monitor and maintain test environments to ensure consistency and availability for testing activities.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all testing activities within the Retail Banking domain.
• Coordinate with project managers to align testing schedules with project timelines and deliverables.
• Utilize expertise in Retail Banking to understand business requirements and tailor testing strategies accordingly.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing techniques and tools to enhance team capabilities.
• Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to update on testing progress and challenges.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Karate for API testing ensuring robust and reliable software integrations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in automation testing using Selenium and Java contributing to efficient test execution.
• Have extensive experience in the Retail Banking domain understanding the nuances and requirements of banking applications.
• Exhibit excellent analytical skills to interpret test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Show capability in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and enhance product quality.
• Display strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve testing challenges effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testing.
