About the role
We are seeking a ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD solutions, including HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, and Employee Center experiences.
In this role, you will:
ServiceNow HRSD Delivery
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD solutions, including HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, and Employee Center experiences.
• Translate HR business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
• Configure workflows, record producers, HR services, assignment rules, and scoped application features within HRSD.
Integrations & Automation
• Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow HRSD and external systems (e.g., HRIS/HCM platforms, identity providers, document management, and other enterprise systems).
• Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and scripted solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, error handling, logging, and performance for high volume HR transactions.
Technical Leadership & Consulting
• Act as a technical advisor to TD Bank stakeholders, providing guidance on platform capabilities, integration strategies, and architectural decisions.
• Lead technical design workshops and support agile delivery activities including story grooming, solution design, testing, and deployments.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior consultants and development team members.
Governance, Security & Quality
• Ensure HR data privacy and access controls are implemented according to financial services security and compliance standards.
• Support release management, code promotion, and platform upgrades while minimizing business disruption.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and integration patterns to support long term maintainability.
Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Canada. What you need to have to be considered
ServiceNow Expertise
• 5+ years of hands on ServiceNow implementation experience, with strong focus on HRSD.
• Proven experience delivering integration heavy ServiceNow solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting skills using JavaScript, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
Integrations & Technical Skills
• Hands on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and external system connectivity. [servicenow.com], [servicenow.com]
• Experience working with authentication and security patterns (SSO, role based access, data segregation).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues across multiple systems.
Consulting & Communication
• Strong client facing consulting skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in regulated industries (banking or financial services preferred).
• Comfortable operating in agile delivery models and fast paced enterprise environments.
• Certifications (Required)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 3/23/26.
The annual salary for this position is between $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
