As a Consulting Analyst - Finance and Operations, you will make an impact by supporting ongoing operational budget management and financial processes for client portfolios. You will be a valued member of the Portfolio Operations team and work collaboratively with budget owners, finance teams, and clients.
- Support ongoing operational budget management in partnership with designated budget owners.
- Perform regular financial tracking activities, including variance analysis and forecast updates, to identify risks and changes versus plan.
- Facilitate recurring financial review sessions with budget owners to review year-to-date performance, risks, and outlook ahead of portfolio or governance reviews.
- Support preparation for portfolio or leadership reviews by validating financial data accuracy and providing clear explanations of key variances and drivers.
- Assist with annual rebudgeting and planning exercises through bottom-up assessment of ongoing operational needs.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support to budget owners, including questions related to invoicing, accruals, purchase orders, and general financial processes.
- Coordinate and distribute recurring financial process reminders (e.g., accrual or period-end activities) to relevant stakeholders.
- Support regular checks of purchase order requests to ensure required accounting and financial information is complete and accurate.
- Maintain and update project and financial mappings across internal tracking tools to ensure alignment between projects, budgets, and reporting structures.
- Support user access requests for portfolio or financial management tools.
- Assist with periodic quality and compliance checks related to purchase orders and financial documentation.
- Maintain and refresh stakeholder distribution lists and contact information to support effective communication and governance processes.

- 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, financial management, or portfolio operations.
- Strong experience in operational budget management, financial tracking, and variance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate financial review sessions and support leadership reviews.
- Experience with purchase order processes, financial documentation, and compliance checks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in consulting or with global clients.
- Familiarity with financial management tools and internal tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
