About the role
As a SAP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant, you will make an impact by supporting end‑to‑end SAP FI implementations, rollouts, and enhancements that strengthen financial processes and compliance. You will be a valued member of the Finance Solutions team and collaborate closely with senior consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders across multiple functions.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to SAP FI module implementations and rollouts, ensuring high‑quality configuration and delivery.
- Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP FI functional specifications.
- Support integration activities with other SAP modules such as CO, MM, and SD.
- Participate in workshops, training sessions, documentation creation, and user support.
- Execute testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), resolve defects, and provide post–go‑live support while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring approximately 2–3 days per week onsite in our client or Cognizant office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. What you need to have to be considered
- 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in SAP FI implementations and rollouts.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, bank accounting, and financial closing.
- Experience integrating SAP FI with CO, MM, and SD modules.
- Participation in at least 1–2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
These will help you stand out
- Experience working in S/4HANA environments.
- Background in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, or consumer goods.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
