We are looking for an exceptional Consulting leader to build and lead a consulting team within our Manufacturing Consulting practice in DACH. You bring exceptional solution finding, proven leadership and team management skills and strong customer focus. In this role, you will lead the DACH Manufacturing Consulting team and work for the key market players in Manufacturing Industry.

Senior Consultant - Manufacturing

We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Consultant to join a strong consulting team within our Cognizant Consulting practice serving Fortune 500 clients in Germany and across Europe.

You bring strategic thinking combined with structured problem-solving and a strong passion for Digitalization, Business Transformation and AI-enabled change. You combine stellar consulting experience with proven stakeholder management and delivery skills, and you bring business, technology and industry knowledge in any domain in the MLEU sector – Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities.

Your Key Result Areas

• Lead clients on their Digital journey by analyzing business problems, shaping solution approaches and delivering value-driven recommendations on business-critical topics

• Drive and contribute to all phases of Digital Transformation programs by applying state-of-art techniques in Design Thinking, Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Project Management, Agile, Business Model Innovation, Change Adoption and more

• Support AI Transformation initiatives by shaping and prioritizing AI/GenAI use cases, assessing readiness, defining requirements, and supporting implementation and rollout

• Build recognized advisory depth in one or more industry sectors: Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities

• Own and assure high-quality consulting deliverables (e.g., transformation roadmaps / plans, requirements, process designs, target operating models, KPI frameworks, executive presentations) and lead workstreams end-to-end

• Contribute to business development by shaping proposals, supporting client pursuits, and helping develop strategic recommendations in Digital and Business transformation

• Contribute to the development of the DACH Consulting practice

• Represent Cognizant in forums & industry events along with seniors from the practice and support efforts on thought leadership and showcasing advisory work of the organization

• Support partnerships with universities to increase Cognizant's market reach and to drive Cognizant Consulting brand awareness

• Build your professional network on the German / DACH market

Desired Qualification

• Stellar university education (Master’s degree preferred) from top universities combining business, technology and ideally industry knowledge in the MLEU domain

• Good relevant experience in Digital and Business Transformation, Strategy and Consulting in one or more of the related industries: Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities

• Hands-on experience in applying Design Thinking, Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Project Management, Agile, Business Model Innovation, Change Adoption in Digital & Business transformation projects for large industry leaders

• Proven experience in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation, including ability to align business and technology stakeholders and drive decisions

• Positive attitude, team spirit, flexible personality, and ability to cope with fast-paced and innovative business environments

• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills; confident in preparing and presenting client-facing materials, combined with proactive attitude, exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity

• Team-orientation and collaborative approach

• Fluent German & English language, any other language is a plus

• Ability to travel within Europe based on client engagement
