About the role
As a Business Analyst – US Treasuries, you will make an impact by leading front-to-back analysis across US Treasury clearing workflows, ensuring complete alignment between business, operations, and technology stakeholders. You will be a valued member of our Capital Markets Consulting team and will collaborate with product, technology, and operations partners across the client organization. In this role, you will:
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on DTC/NSCC systems to support daily settlement activities, exception resolution, and end-of-day netting processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements into BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and JIRA user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Map current ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") workflows for trade lifecycle, settlement, and clearing to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable JIRA epics/features and participating in daily scrums, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Utilize SQL to perform end-to-end data analysis, validate business rules, and troubleshoot settlement failures.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios, validating outcomes against requirements, and supporting client operations training.
What you must have to be considered
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Capital Markets, specifically with DTCC settlement.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver structured process flows, detailed requirements, and comprehensive front-to-back analysis
Excellent communication skills with proven ability to partner across business, operations, and technology teams.
Compensation
109,00- 128,000 CAD annually plus Target Bonus
