Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of experience in programming, scripting and CI/CD engineering. This role demands expertise in multi-cloud environments, specifically Azure and proficiency in API development / integrations, Az IAM / Security, C#, ASP. Net Core, Kafka, and Az Resource Management using Bicep.

The ideal candidate will have experience across various business domains but in this instance experience with Utilities is highly preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cloud Engineering:

    Design, implement and maintain Azure API based solutions.

    Create, maintain and support Bicep for resource automation.

    Ensure cloud-enabled applications follow best practices for security, scalability, load balancing and failure management.

  2. CI/CD and DevOps:

    Implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

    Create automated unit tests to verify code accuracy.

    Identify opportunities for automation and enhance cloud solutions with a DevOps mindset.

  3. Programming and Scripting:

    Develop logic via C# and .NET Core to support application requirements.

  4. Team operations and Knowledge Sharing:

    Work with an Agile Scrum mindset.

    Conduct coaching and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill team members.

    Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously seek to improve skills.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Expert in Azure cloud technologies – especially API Integration technologies.

  • Expert in version control tools like Azure DevOps.

  • Expert in IaC tools like Azure Bicep.

  • Expert in programming languages like C# and .NET Core.

  • Strong experience in Agile and Scrum practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand the current delivery process, tools and techniques and improve them through a DevOps mindset.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and create solution designs to adopt and enhance cloud solutions with seamless implementation.

  • Create, maintain and support integration documentation.

  • Adopt Azure best practices for cloud-enabled applications, providing security, scalability and load balancing.

  • Develop applications using C# and .NET Core to support application requirements.

  • Analyze and develop capacity plans for future infrastructure needs.

  • Adopt CI/CD cycles to automate the build and deployment process.

  • Work with BAs and Testers to ensure we build solutions that meet the designs.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Computer Engineering or similar.

  • Azure Cloud Engineering certifications.

Salary Range: >$100,000
