About the role
We’re seeking a skilled FileNet P8 Specialist to design and deliver scalable content management solutions within the Cards and Payments domain. In this hybrid Toronto-based role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs, develop and integrate FileNet P8 and Java-based applications, optimize system performance, and drive innovation across our content management ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop scalable architecture solutions using FileNet P8 and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement FileNet P8
- Content Navigator solutions to optimize content management processes.
- Utilize FileNet P8
- Content Engine API to enhance system functionality and integration.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications to support FileNet systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of FileNet solutions within the existing IT infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of solutions to ensure quality and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in content management.
- Document technical specifications and project progress for future reference.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance the Cards and Payments domain.
Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto - ON. What you need to have to be considered
- Possess 6+ yrs of extensive experience in FileNet P8
- Content navigator Plugins and Content Engine API.
- Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript and Java for application development.
- Have a strong understanding of content management systems and their integration.
- Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is advantageous.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts.

The annual salary for this position is between $100.000 – $117.000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
