About the role
As a Sr. API Automation QA, you will make an impact by ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Asset & Wealth Management technology solutions. You will be a valued member of the QA and Engineering team and work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and cross functional partners to validate business critical features and enhance delivery excellence.

In this role, you will:
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to Asset & Wealth Management products to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Execute automated and manual testing processes using RestAssured, Java, and Python to validate product features and identify defects.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective test cases aligned with business objectives.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to streamline testing and enhance delivery timelines.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance post deployment to ensure ongoing reliability and user satisfaction.

Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring X days a week in a Cognizant or client office in St. Petersburg, Florida. What you need to have to be considered
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in test automation, specifically in API automation.
• Hands on experience with RestAssured or similar libraries for API automation.
• Familiarity with advanced API authorization techniques, including OAuth.
• Strong hands on experience in Java for API automation.
• Ability and willingness to work in an onshore offshore delivery model.
• Strong communication skills and an adaptive, collaborative work style.
• Experience delivering large scale solutions from the ground up.
