We are seeking an experienced onshore Senior Developer with strong expertise in Ab Initio, Data Fabric architecture, Oracle, SQL Server, and enterprise data platforms. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, solution design capability, and close collaboration with business and offshore teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical lead, owning end-to-end data integration and transformation solutions while mentoring team members and engaging with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead design and development of Ab Initio-based data integration solutions across large-scale enterprise environments

• Architect and implement Data Fabric / Data Integration frameworks to support analytics, reporting, and downstream systems

• Own end-to-end delivery of data pipelines including ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation

• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables

Development & Engineering

• Develop and optimize Ab Initio graphs, plans, metadata hub, and scheduling components

• Design and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models using Oracle and SQL Server

• Ensure performance optimization, data quality, and scalability of ETL processes

• Handle data volumes in batch and near–real-time processing environments

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Act as onshore point of contact for client discussions, requirement clarification, and solution walkthroughs

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and functional specifications

• Coordinate with offshore development teams for build, testing, and deployment activities

• Support UAT, production releases, and post-go-live stabilization

Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards

• Define and implement logging, auditing, error handling, and monitoring frameworks

• Contribute to architecture standards, reusable components, and accelerators

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System, Metadata Hub)

• Solid understanding of Data Fabric concepts, data integration patterns, and enterprise data architecture

• Advanced SQL expertise with Oracle and SQL Server

• Experience with performance tuning, partitioning, and large data volumes

Additional Technical Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Exposure to data warehousing, data lakes, and analytics platforms

• Knowledge of scheduling tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with data quality and reconciliation frameworks

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Technical Lead

• Strong communication skills with ability to engage business and technical stakeholders

• Experience working in onshore–offshore delivery models

• Ability to mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
