About the role

As a Facets Operations Analyst, you will make an impact by ensuring the reliable execution, monitoring, and optimization of Facets batch processes that support critical operational workflows. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Operations & Technology team, collaborating closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and production support groups to ensure smooth and efficient batch operations.

In this role, you will:

• Monitor, analyze, and maintain Facets core batch jobs and their dependencies across production and non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve batch job failures through detailed investigation and root cause identification.
• Configure, schedule, and manage batch workloads using Tidal or other enterprise schedulers, including job sequencing, calendars, and dependencies.
• Support file transfer activities, including creating and maintaining file transfer scripts.
• Provide timely communication to stakeholders regarding batch status, incidents, and operational impacts.

What you need to have to be considered

• Hands-on experience with Facets batch operations, including Core Facets Jobs and the Facets Data Model.
• Strong background in enterprise job scheduling tools, preferably Tidal.
• Experience supporting US Healthcare payer batch processes.
• Proficiency in SQL development and troubleshooting for batch-related issues.
• Experience in production support, incident management, and handling emergency or ad‑hoc batch requests.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

These will help you stand out

• Experience supporting Facets system upgrades and batch-related change activities.
• Background creating or maintaining operational runbooks and batch documentation.
• Ability to support weekend, holiday, and after-hours batch activities as needed.
• Experience managing file transfers and scripting for automation.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $77K-$85K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
