As iOS Senior Software Engineer, you will make an impact by To contribute to the strategy, architecture, best practices, and selection of tools and technologies for iOS application platforms, supporting backend APIs, CI/CD tools, and test automation, ensuring the technical execution and launch of mobile applications to end consumers. You will be a valued member of the DE Studio LATAM team and work collaboratively The Product, Design, and Delivery leaders are there to help teams realize product initiatives and operational execution.

In this role, you will:

Design and build intuitive, simple, and elegantly designed mobile applications that people want to use.

Provide support and development of software tools and procedures to extend and enhance the core production pipeline.

Work with various departments, including Product, Design, Delivery, Editorial, and Engineering, to implement digital user experience solutions and applications.

Assist in resolving production issues, root cause analysis, and debugging.

Develop and maintain existing production systems that support digital ecosystem.

Mentor junior developers.

Ensure software development follows industry best practices, policies and guidelines. Specifically, ensuring that technical solutions are in line with established strategy, standards in respect to architecture, security, corporate governance, coding standards, monitoring, logging, unit test, and service enablement.

Work model: hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo - SP. What you need to have to be considered

BS/MS in computer science (or equivalent)

Demonstrated advanced understanding of troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, solution development, human factors/usability design, and implementation of projects for major business units or the enterprise

Strong foundation in programming fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms

Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code

Demonstrated full-mobile stack development experience with mobile native clients, SDKs, and APIs (Swift/Objective-C, SwiftUI, iOS platform).

Demonstrated expert knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, and architecture, specifically experience architecting performant, scalable, and secure mobile apps.

Hands-on experience with mobile DevOps CI/CD tools and implementing best practices, including automation of deployment, code signing tools and automated tests. Preferred familiarity with Git and Bitrise.

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams in english

Experience building flexible software architecture to accommodate shifting business needs

These will help you stand out

Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms such as Amazon AWS

General familiarity with database technologies (SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL, GraphDB, etc.)
