Job Summary

As a Sr. DevOps specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects within the Industrial Manufacturing domain. You will leverage your technical expertise in Linux Shell Scripting, Redhat Openshift, 3Scale API Management, Kafka Admin, Kafka, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, and Github Actions to drive project outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope

- Utilize Linux Shell Scripting to automate processes and enhance project efficiency

- Implement Redhat Openshift solutions to optimize project infrastructure

- Manage 3Scale API Management to ensure seamless integration and functionality

- Administer Kafka systems to maintain data flow and communication across platforms

- Deploy Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalability

- Monitor project performance using Dynatrace to ensure optimal system health

- Facilitate continuous integration and deployment using Github Actions

- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders effectively

- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution

- Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and problem-solving

- Ensure project compliance with industry standards and best practices

Salary and Other Compensation:

  • The annual salary for this position is between $1,11000 – $131,000 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
