PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant

About the role

As a PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant, you will make an impact by serving as the Single Point of Contact for the PeopleSoft FSCM application, bridging functional and technical teams, and ensuring accurate requirements, configuration, functional documentation, and production support. You will collaborate with Business Process Owners, Application Owners, testers, technical teams, and Oracle support to deliver high‑quality functional solutions.

In this role, you will:

- Act as the Functional / SPOC for PeopleSoft FSCM, coordinating with business and technical teams for all functional inputs.

- Perform application configuration, setups, and required updates to functional documents (BRDs, FRDs, functional specs).

- Fix support issues escalated by client functional support teams and analyze PUM features/enhancements.

- Conduct functional and process impact assessments, identify pain points, and recommend best‑practice solutions.

- Support validation/UAT cycles and assist technical teams with documentation and business coordination.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sao Paulo, SP. What you need to have to be considered

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Advanced English

· In‑depth functional knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM modules:

· Financials: GL, Project Costing, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets (Asset Management), eSettlements

· Procurement: Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, eProcurement, eSupplier Connection, Supplier Contracts Management

· Background preparing BRDs/FRDs and documenting requirements using TFS.

· Strong liaison skills between business users and technical teams.

· Hands‑on knowledge resolving functional issues and performing impact assessments.

· Background coordinating with Oracle for bug fixes using client service accounts.

These will help you stand out

· Experience analyzing PUM features and identifying required enhancements.

· Strong ability to identify pain points and recommend best practices.

· Functional expertise across multiple FSCM modules and cross‑functional processes.

· Excellent documentation skills supporting business and technical alignment.

· Prior experience supporting UAT and business validation cycles.
