PeopleSoft FSCM - Technical Lead
About the role
As a PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Lead, you will make an impact by leading day‑to‑day technical development activities across PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain modules, ensuring high‑quality delivery, clear technical specifications, and effective coordination across onsite/offshore teams. You will be a valued member of the project delivery team and collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, testers, vendors, and client stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage daily technical development activities, including planning, requirement clarification, and coordination across teams.
- Prepare and own technical specifications based on functional/business requirements.
- Review code quality and coordinate migration of development objects.
- Support testers during various test cycles and assist with test design and execution.
- Prepare cutover plans in collaboration with client stakeholders and ensure adherence to quality and coding standards.
Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sao Paulo, SP. What you need to have to be considered
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Advanced English
· Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financial modules: General Ledger, Project Costing, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets (Asset Management), eSettlements.
· Competency in PeopleSoft Procurement modules: Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, eProcurement, eSupplier Connection, Supplier Contracts Management.
· Knowledge of Vertex (SaaS) and integrations with PeopleSoft AP.
· Ability to interpret requirements and functional specifications, seeking clarifications when needed.
· Background performing quality reviews and coordinating code migration.
· Effective communication with project managers and cross‑functional teams.
These will help you stand out
· Background supporting regulatory audits or control reviews.
· Knowledge in identifying system pain points and recommending best practices.
· Strong vendor coordination skills across onsite/offshore models.
· Deep understanding of PeopleSoft development standards and best practices.
· Background supporting complex cutover activities.
· Strong documentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
· Strong analytical documentation and reporting abilities.
