Axiom Tester – Regulatory Reporting

About the role

As an Axiom Tester, you will make an impact by validating regulatory reporting solutions built on the AxiomSL Controller View platform, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to production release. You will be a valued member of the Regulatory Technology or Finance Reporting team and collaborate closely with developers, BAs, data teams, and reporting stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases for Axiom regulatory reporting implementations.

- Execute SIT, UAT, and regression testing for Axiom components (data ingestion, transformations, business rules, aggregations, templates, workflows).

- Perform detailed data validation and reconciliation between upstream systems (GL, Risk, Treasury, Data Warehouse) and Axiom outputs.

- Log, track, and manage defects, retesting fixes and ensuring closure before deadlines.

- Test regulatory reports including FR Y‑14A/Q/M, FR Y‑9C, FFIEC 031/041, 2052a, Basel III (RWA, LCR, NSFR), validating calculations and regulatory logic.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sao Paulo, SP. What you need to have to be considered

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Advanced English

· Hands‑on experience testing AxiomSL Controller View components.

· Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.

· Understanding of data models, ETL processes, and financial data flows.

· Familiarity with Axiom data dictionaries, business rules, transformation logic.

· Knowledge of banking products: loans, deposits, derivatives, securities, and trading products.

· Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FR Y‑14, FR Y‑9C, FFIEC, Basel III, 2052a, LCR, NSFR).

These will help you stand out

· Experience supporting regulatory audits or control reviews.

· Familiarity with CCAR‑related testing.

· Experience with automated testing or data‑quality tools.

· Exposure to large‑scale data testing environments.

· Strong analytical documentation and reporting abilities.
