Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Playwright and TypeScript with a preference for those with program management experience. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software products contributing to the companys success and societal impact.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Utilize Playwright and TypeScript to automate testing processes enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and tools to align with industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations maintaining the integrity of our products.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Engage in root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues in software development.
  • Coordinate with program management to align testing efforts with project timelines and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies integrating them into testing practices.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills crucial for identifying and resolving software defects.

  • Show proficiency in analyzing test results and generating comprehensive reports.
