We are seeking a Tosca Automation Engineer for a permanent position. You will design, build, and maintain scalable automation suites across UI, API, and data layers. You are responsible for building reusable modules, managing test data, and integrating automated cases into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate quality outcomes in a fast-paced delivery environment.

In this role, you will

  • Design and execute automated test cases, including regression tests, functional tests, and end-to-end business process tests using Tosca.
  • Design and maintain TOSCA automation scripts.
  • Implement and maintain Tosca automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Create and manage workspace in TOSCA, handle TOSCA components effectively and design automation framework from scratch.
  • Create and maintain test data strategies; use Tosca Data Integrity or DB checks for end-to-end validation
  • Collaborate with BA/Dev/QA to define test objectives, risk-based testing, and traceability to requirements/user stories.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Required skills

  • Overall 6-10 of experience in test automation with at least 3+ years of experience in web automation using Tosca framework/Tosca and in Tosca Data Integrity .
  • Must have hands on experience working with Tosca framework, creation of testcase template, module, test design sheet, class, RTB and library, use of different type of parameters, PDF comparison using Tosca tool.
  • Capable for planning, designing, deploying, maintaining and troubleshoot scripts in TOSCA. Analyze and locate the exception layer where test scripts fail and fix the scripts.
  • Must have Tosca Automation Specialist-I & Automation Specialist -II, TDS, Tosca DI certification complete.
  • Must have experience working in agile teams using BDD, Cucumber, Gitlab and Jenkins.
  • Should be well versed in DevOps and CI/CD implementation.
  • Strong SQL skill in needed.

Preferred skills

  • Insurance domain experience is added advantage.
  • Tosca -Testcase Design specialist -I, Test Design Specialist-II certification is added advantage.
  • Should work and support on-shore offshore model.

Total compensation:

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 70,000 – 90,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
