Job Summary:
- Has 12 + years’ experience managing large teams for Data integration applications.
- Has 5 to 7 years of experience Designing and implementing GCP solutions in Google Cloud Platform.
- Expert in Big query , Cloud run, Cloud Function, Cloud Storage, Cloud Spanner, AlloyDB Google services.
- Has good hands-on Python, Linux scripting and Google cloud SDK commands.
- Able to effectively communicate with client stake holders and act as Program Manager for entire engagement consisting of 10 to 15 developers.
- Has good communication skills to ensure the project delivery is happening without any customer escalations and able to raise concerns with customer stakeholders on time.
- Able to come up with critical production hot fix suggestions/ guidelines for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable architecture solutions tailored to the transportation and logistics domain ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Python-based applications with Cloud SQL and BigQuery enhancing data processing capabilities.
- Oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategic improvements.
- Lead efforts to optimize data storage and retrieval processes leveraging BigQuery for efficient data management.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for architectural designs ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Implement best practices for data security and compliance safeguarding sensitive transportation and logistics information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and integrating them into existing systems to enhance functionality.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure reliability and scalability of solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to upskill team members on new technologies and methodologies.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
