Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a large-scale API Management migration from Apigee to Kong APIM. This role is critical to ensuring API quality security and performance throughout the migration lifecycle with a strong focus on validating functional parity nonfunctional requirements and consumer impact.
Responsibilities
Analyse existing Apigee API proxies and policies to define test scenarios for Kong APIM equivalents;
Design and execute functional integration and regression testing for migrated APIs;
Validate API contracts request and response transformations headers error handling and versioning;
Test security controls including OAuth 2.0 JWT mTLS and API key authentication;
Validate traffic management policies such as rate limiting throttling quotas and retries;
Conduct non functional testing including performance scalability and resilience;
Support parallel run cutover and go live testing to minimise service disruption;
Manage defects end to end working closely with development and platform teams;
Produce clear test evidence reports and quality metrics to support release decisions.
