Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable applications using Docker Container and KONG technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.

• Migrate existing estate from Apigee to Kong.

• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring seamless integration and communication between different systems.

• Utilize Swagger Hub and Postman for efficient API service testing and validation ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Oversee the deployment of applications on Kubernetes optimizing resource allocation and system scalability.

• Ensure robust authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place utilizing JSON Web Token and SAML protocols.

• Develop and maintain Lua scripts for custom functionalities enhancing application capabilities.

• Conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary protocols to safeguard data.

• Provide technical expertise in JSON and JavaScript ensuring efficient data handling and manipulation.

• Utilize KONG Enterprise and KONG Mesh for advanced API management ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.

• Engage in continuous improvement processes identifying areas for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Audit & QC-Regulations maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

• Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies applying them to improve existing systems.

Experience Required:

• Possess strong technical skills in Docker Container KONG OSS KONG Insomnia and KONG Enterprise.

• Demonstrate proficiency in API testing tools such as Swagger Hub and Postman.

• Have a solid understanding of security protocols including JSON Web Token and SAML.

• Experience with Kubernetes for application deployment and management is essential.

• Familiarity with Lua scripting and JSON data handling is required.

• Knowledge of Audit & QC-Regulations is a plus enhancing compliance and quality assurance.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
