About the role
As an Associate Director, you will make an impact by driving revenue growth through RGM (Revenue Growth Management) and TPM (Trade Promotion Management) technology solutions for clients in the CPG and Retail industry. You will be a valued member of the CPG & Retail Consulting team and work collaboratively with client partners, cross-functional teams, and clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and business development strategy to expand RGM and TPM offerings in the CPG and Retail industry.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth by acquiring new clients and growing existing client relationships focused on RGM and TPM solutions.
  • Lead strategic prospecting and pipeline development by identifying and engaging potential clients through value-based selling and strategic outreach.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the sales cycle stages.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and position consulting solutions effectively.
  • Lead client discovery meetings, workshops, RFP responses, and proactive proposal development and oral presentations.
  • Lead and manage consulting projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality RGM and TPM solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Leverage industry expertise and domain knowledge to refine and extend consulting capabilities and offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Author thought leadership insights, publications, and industry presentations and represent the company at industry panels and forums.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic account planning and execution.

What you must have to be considered

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the CPG and Retail industry with experience in pricing or trade promotion SaaS applications.
  • Proven experience engaging with VP+ and C-level executives, demonstrating an ability to navigate complex decision-making processes.
  • Deep domain expertise in pricing, trade promotion management strategy, process, and technology solutions in the CPG and Retail industry.
  • Robust network of contacts and presence in professional organizations and industry forums.

These will help you succeed

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in data and technology consulting in the CPG and Retail industry.
  • Domain knowledge of RGM and TPM strategy, process, and technology solutions.
  • Experience in end-to-end digital transformation involving SaaS solutions supporting RGM and TPM.
  • Experience in participating in industry forums and contribution to thought leadership.
  • Flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments and audiences.
  • Ability to drive sales efforts and lead multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, C-level ready presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage client relationships.
