Test Analyst
About the role
As a Test Analyst, you will make an impact by ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of modern web and API-based applications through robust manual and automated testing practices. You will be a valued member of an agile delivery team, working closely with developers, product owners, and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework for web and API applications
- Define and implement test and automation strategies aligned with project goals and quality standards
- Perform web and API testing, ensuring functional, integration, and regression coverage
- Apply BDD practices to improve collaboration and shared understanding of requirements
- Conduct exploratory testing, identify defects, and manage bugs through their full lifecycle
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, collaborating with cross-functional and global teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and frameworks
Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring a few days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Sao Paulo - SP BRA, exclusively for candidates residing in Sao Paulo - SP BR, as employment and payroll operations are managed from Brazil
What you need to have to be considered
- Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation
- Proven experience in web testing and API testing
- Experience working with BDD methodologies
- Solid understanding of test planning, automation strategies, and quality processes
- Experience with exploratory testing and defect/bug management
- Hands-on experience working in agile environments
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written), with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
These will help you stand out
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Playwright
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar tools to accelerate test automation
- ISTQB certification
