Cognizant is seeking a Service Delivery Manager for a full-time onsite opportunity working from our client’s office in Newport Beach, CA. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this role is between $99,000 and $116,000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 3/30/2026.

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will be responsible for end-to end delivery and governance of Infrastructure Services spanning Network, Data Center Operations (DCO), Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and On-Prem Server environments. This role is highly customer-facing and requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to independently handle critical escalations, and a hands-on mindset to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and account growth through value propositions.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Operations

1. Own end-to-end service delivery across Network, DCO, Cloud, and On-Prem infrastructure environments.

2. Ensure services are delivered in line with SLAs, OLAs, and contractual commitments.

3. Act as the single point of accountability for service performance, stability, and availability.

4. Drive incident, problem, and change management, including Major Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis.

5. Be hands-on during escalations, independently coordinating technical teams and stakeholders until resolution.

Customer Relationship Management

1. Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders at operational and leadership levels.

2. Lead service reviews, monthly governance calls, and QBRs, clearly articulating value and outcomes.

3. Proactively manage customer expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

4. Represent the service provider with confidence, clarity, and ownership.

Continuous Improvement & Value Creation

1. Identify service improvement opportunities, automation possibilities, and operational efficiencies.

2. Define and propose value propositions such as optimization initiatives, modernization, cost reduction, and resilience improvements.

3. Work closely with technical SMEs to convert ideas into actionable improvement roadmaps.

4. Expand the service footprint in uncharted or under-penetrated areas of the account.

Growth & Account Expansion

1. Partner with account and sales teams to support upsell, cross-sell, and new service adoption.

2. Identify gaps in current services and propose new solutions aligned to customer business goals.

3. Support RFPs, proposals, and solution discussions with practical delivery insights.

Governance & Leadership

1. Lead cross-functional teams (Network, Cloud, DCO, Server, Service Desk) to deliver integrated outcomes.

2. Ensure strong governance, reporting, and risk management.

Qualifications:

1. Good experience managing Infrastructure Services: Network (LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Load Balancers)

2. Data Center Operations (Compute, Storage, Backup)

3. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

4. On-Prem Servers (Windows/Linux, Virtualization)

5. Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Availability).

6. Ability to engage deeply during technical escalations and guide teams towards resolution.

7. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

8. SLA adherence and service stability.
