About the Role
As a Solution Architect for the Baggage BCS System within our client’s complex IT landscape, you will play a key role in designing, safeguarding, and evolving the architecture that supports the baggage operations. You translate complex operational and business requirements into scalable, secure, and future‑proof architectural solutions that integrate seamlessly within a highly interconnected IT/OT environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and safeguard robust solution architectures for our customer's dynamic and highly dependent IT/OT environment
• Translate business and operational requirements into effective, scalable architectural designs
• Contribute to system refactoring initiatives and support the development of the future-state architecture
• Ensure all solutions align with our client's IT & Data enterprise architecture standards and comply with established architectural guardrails
• Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect, Product Owner, and other key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both strategic and operational objectives
• Provide architectural guidance for systems operating in mission-critical, high‑dependency environments

Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex IT or IT/OT environments, ideally in mission‑critical infrastructure
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, modern integration patterns, and system design best practices
• Demonstrated ability to translate operational needs into structured, future-oriented architecture
• Experience in airports, logistics, or other high-availability operational environments is an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in Dutch is required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and teams
