About the role

As a Senior Boomi Developer, you will make an impact by designing, building, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions within the Cards & Payments domain. You will be a valued member of the Integration Technology team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including architecture, DevOps, and business partners, to deliver scalable and secure integration platforms.

In this role, you will:

· Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex integrations using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.

· Build and maintain integrations across cloud and on-premise systems using APIs, web services, and EDI.

· Manage and support Boomi runtime environments including Atoms, Molecules, and DR configurations.

· Monitor production integrations, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex issues.

· Define integration architecture, enforce best practices, and mentor other developers.

Work model: Hybrid from River Woods, IL – 3+ days onsite required

What you need to have to be considered

· 5+ years of hands-on Dell Boomi development experience; 8–10 years total enterprise integration experience.

· Strong expertise with Boomi processes, connectors, maps, profiles, and runtime management.

· Professional Boomi Developer Certification (Architect or Administrator certification preferred).

· Experience implementing REST/SOAP services and working with XML, JSON, flat files, and EDI.

· Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git version control, and scripting languages such as JavaScript or Groovy.

These will help you stand out

· Experience integrating Salesforce, Snowflake, and SAP ecosystems using Boomi.

· Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

· Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for integration and data analysis.

· Experience in Cards & Payments or regulated financial services environments.

· Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $64,734 - $90,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
