About the role
As a Senior QA – Test Automation Specialist (TOSCA for SAP), you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable automated testing solutions that strengthen quality across SAP programs. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with SAP functional experts, the BBS team, key users, and other stakeholders to ensure automation coverage and reliability for business‑critical processes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of TOSCA test automation strategies and frameworks for SAP systems.
- Collaborate with BBS teams, key users, and business stakeholders to develop, execute, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and BW.
- Translate complex SAP business requirements into effective test scenarios, cases, and reusable automation modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated execution, TOSCA configuration, and DEX‑based execution pipelines.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and drive continuous improvements in automation quality and efficiency.
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a Cognizant or client office located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. What you need to have to be considered
- Strong overall experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a foundation in functional and automation testing.
- Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience using Tricentis TOSCA for SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, BW).
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain complex and reusable TOSCA automated scripts, including experience with DEX execution.
- Solid understanding of SAP business processes and key functional modules (e.g., Origination, GTM, FI/CO, SD, MM, PP).
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior QA engineers, resolve technical queries, and provide leadership in test automation initiatives.

- Experience contributing to or leading automation framework enhancements in TOSCA.
- Familiarity with SAP testing best practices and large‑scale enterprise SAP landscapes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot automation bottlenecks and execution issues.
