Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience in Mendix development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mendix REST API Microflow Integration Extensibility Entities and Security. Experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects during day shifts without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Mendix applications by leveraging REST API Microflow and Integration capabilities to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement extensible and secure Mendix solutions.
• Ensure the integrity and performance of Mendix Entities by optimizing data models and workflows.
• Implement and enforce Mendix Security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mendix applications to ensure seamless operation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Document technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Mendix.
• Stay updated with the latest Mendix features and industry trends to enhance application functionality.
• Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries to streamline future projects.
• Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and validation.
• Support the deployment and release management processes to ensure smooth transitions to production environments.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Mendix REST API Microflow Integration Extensibility Entities and Security.
• Demonstrate experience in developing applications within the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus.
• Exhibit proficiency in designing and implementing secure and scalable Mendix solutions.
• Showcase ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model with effective communication skills.
• Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $84,000 – $105,000 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
