About the role
As a NetSuite Principal Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable, end-to-end NetSuite solutions that drive business efficiency, automation, and growth. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Applications and Architecture team and will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, IT leadership, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams to align NetSuite capabilities with strategic business objectives.
Work model: Remote from the United States
In this role, you will:
· Lead the architecture, design, and hands-on implementation of NetSuite solutions across core business processes.
· Define and govern NetSuite integration and data strategies, ensuring source-of-truth clarity, data quality, and end-to-end process integrity.
· Provide expert configuration and optimization across NetSuite modules including Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Acquire to Retire, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Advanced Manufacturing, and Revenue Recognition.
· Translate complex business requirements into clear solution options, technical designs, and trade-offs for executive and stakeholder decision-making.
· Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to internal teams while driving continuous improvement and innovation within the NetSuite platform.
What you need to have to be considered
· 8+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience delivering end-to-end solution design and implementations across core ERP modules.
· Deep expertise with the SuiteCloud platform, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and system integrations.
· Proven experience leading NetSuite implementations and post-go-live optimizations, including requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
· Strong executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
· NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant and NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer certifications.
These will help you stand out
· Experience supporting ISV and high-tech business models, including subscription, usage-based, and multi-entity operations.
· Experience partnering with third-party ISVs and vendors to deliver integrated NetSuite ecosystems.
· Demonstrated success facilitating workshops and training sessions that drive adoption and measurable process improvement.
· Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity, performance optimization, and user experience.
· Experience mentoring junior architects or developers and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $116,100 - $156,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
