Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead / Project Manager to drive the implementation of IBM Envizi and related ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) data capabilities across the enterprise. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, data integration expertise, and project delivery experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate ESG reporting, seamless system integration, and successful program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end technical design, configuration, and implementation of IBM Envizi.
- Develop and oversee data integration strategies between Envizi, AWS, and enterprise applications.
- Guide teams on data engineering practices, quality controls, and deployment standards.
Data Integration & Cloud Engineering
- Manage data pipelines and ingestion workflows across AWS cloud services.
- Integrate systems through APIs, automation scripts, and cloud-native tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for ESG reporting and dashboards.
Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Own project scope, timelines, risks, and communication plans.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between ESG teams, IT, cloud engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Ensure smooth rollout, user enablement, and adoption of the solution.
ESG Collaboration
- Work closely with ESG and sustainability teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure ESG data readiness, compliance, and alignment with internal and external reporting standards.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
1. Data Engineering & Systems Integration – 5+ years
Expert experience integrating enterprise systems using cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Strong understanding of API‑based integrations and data engineering practices.
2. AWS Services & API Integration – 5+ years
Hands-on knowledge of AWS components such as Lambda, S3, Glue, API Gateway, and experience building automated data workflows.
3. ESG Platform Exposure – 2+ years
Working knowledge of platforms like IBM Envizi and Salesforce Net Zero Cloud. Experience supporting ESG reporting or sustainability data projects is preferred.
4. Project Management – 4+ years
Demonstrated experience managing technical programs using tools like JIRA, Monday.com, and other project reporting tools. Proven ability to deliver projects in complex enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing ESG, sustainability, or compliance reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of ESG data models, reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in large enterprise or global environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work across technical and business teams.

Compensation: - $110,000 to $130,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 4/20/2026
