Salesforce Field Service (FSL) Architect
Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and design workshops with client senior executives and chief architects to understand business processes and field service needs.
- Define optimal scheduling strategies by configuring and deploying complex scheduling policies, work rules, and service objectives within Enhanced Scheduling and Optimization (ESO).
- Design and architect integrations with external systems (e.g., third-party mapping services) to support field service operations.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring configurations and customizations (Apex, LWC, Flows) adhere to architectural standards and FSL best practices.
- Ensure implemented solutions are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for large data volumes.
- Work hands-on with FSL configuration, including data models (Work Orders, Service Appointments, Service Resources), territories, and capacity-based resource planning.
Required Qualifications
- Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification (mandatory); Advanced Field Service accreditation is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 5–8 years as a Solution or Technical Architect.
- Proven experience with 3–4 end-to-end FSL implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and specifically FSL.
- Deep expertise in Enhanced Scheduling and Optimization (ESO), including configuration of scheduling policies, service objectives, and resource priority settings.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead workshops and drive architectural discussions with senior client executives.
