About the role
As a Consulting Analyst - Planisware, you will make an impact by leading requirements gathering, supporting solution design, translating business needs into detailed delivery requirements, and assisting with configuration, development, and deployment activities. You will be a valued member of the consulting team and work collaboratively with Product Managers, Technology & Platform Managers, and clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a functional specialist in Planisware for Finance and Portfolio Management capabilities.
  • Lead requirements gathering and support solution design.
  • Own functional testing, validate deliverables with end users, and contribute to user training and documentation.
  • Support incident management by providing functional insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers on backlog prioritization, quarterly upgrades, and delivery planning.
  • Work with the Technology & Platform Manager on Planisware implementation activities, including technical dependencies and integration needs.
  • Ensure successful adoption of Planisware capabilities across finance and portfolio management stakeholders.
  • Provide support for peripheral applications, including custom IBM Planning Analytics modules and custom full-stack visualization tools.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in a client or Cognizant office in Mexico. What you must have to be considered

  • Experience as a functional analyst or business analyst in finance and portfolio management domains.
  • Hands-on expertise with Planisware or similar portfolio/finance management platforms.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, solution design, and functional testing.
  • Experience supporting configuration, development, and deployment activities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

These will help you succeed

  • Experience with IBM Planning Analytics and custom full-stack visualization tools.
  • Strong documentation and user training skills.
  • Experience supporting incident management and providing functional insights.
  • Familiarity with backlog prioritization and delivery planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
